For our Product Quality department we are looking for a LAB TECHNICIAN who can support the team in ensuring that our products meet both local and international quality, safety and environmental standards.

As a Lab Technician at Suriname Alcoholic Beverages N.V. you are part of an energetic, flexible team and you are able to guarantee adequate control and monitoring of quality under all circumstances.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Carrying out quality checks within the entire production flow from raw material to finished product.

• Implementing the product quality policy and derived plans, programs, projects, procedures and processes.

• Supporting the preparation of laboratory and quality standards, work and administrative procedures within the Product Quality department.

• Support with product development within the organization and improving existing processes within production.

 

The ideal candidate:

• Has at least an MBO diploma or work and thinking level, preferably in the field of chemical analyst.

• Has practical laboratory skills and knowledge of laboratory equipment.

• Is analytical and solution-oriented.

• Has good verbal and written communication skills.

• Has good administration and reporting skills.

• Has extensive experience in MS Office.

• Is connecting, proactive, quality-conscious and enterprising.

• Is accurate, results-oriented, can work systematically and multitask.

• Shows decisiveness in giving advice and taking decisions and initiatives.

• Has an honest, reliable, committed and flexible attitude.

• Can work in a team and in shifts.
