For our Barrel Warehouse Department, we are looking for a Barrel Warehouse Operator who contributes to optimal execution of all (maintenance) work in the Barrel Warehouse based on established procedures and is responsible for maintaining daily administration.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Empties and refills barrels in accordance with procedure.
- Is responsible for managing barrel storage.
- Ensures barrels are correctly labelled with product information, dates, and batch numbers.
- Ensures orderly and safe barrel storage to safeguard access and safety.
- Assists with moving barrels, including use of forklifts or other aids, and ensures correct storage conditions.
- Handles heavy loads and hazardous substances in accordance with safety procedures.
- Regularly checks barrel stock levels.
The ideal candidate:
- MBO NATIN/AMTO chemistry or process technology
- Knowledge of HSEQ standards: ISO 9001, 14001, FSSC 22000, 45001 and other QC standards is a plus
- Administrative experience (Navision, Word and Excel) is a plus
- Forklift licence is a plus
- Good sense of smell, taste, and colour discrimination
