For the Logistics Department, we are looking for a Head Stores & Stock who is responsible for efficient, safe, and reliable warehouse processes, taking measures in case of disruptions and emergencies, and advising on optimisation of operations.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Leads the Warehouse Division.
- Ensures qualitatively deployable staff and execution and compliance with human resource policy.
- Provides full support to the Supply Chain Manager in inventory management and control of the total logistics goods flow.
- Ensures correct storage of goods, uniform coding, and internal and external goods flow.
- Structures, maintains, and optimises warehouse activities and identifies bottlenecks in the process and proposes solutions.
- Ensures up-to-date inventory administration in Navision.
- Analyses and optimises ordering processes, KPIs, and projects in a timely and adequate manner and reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Ensures timely execution of periodic inventory counts.
- Contributes to operational policy and maintaining, contributing, and transferring specific expertise in their field.
The ideal candidate:
- HBO degree in Logistics or Business Administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in warehouse management.
- Experience with computer programs Navision, Word, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge of HSEQ standards: ISO 9001, 14001, FSSC 22000, 45001 and other QC standards.
- Driving licence BE and forklift experience.
