For our Maintenance & Engineering Department, we are looking for a Board Operator responsible for safely operating the distillation plant and monitoring the fermentation and utilities installations from the control room. Tasks and Responsibilities: -Operates and monitors the distillation, fermentation, and utilities installations. -Monitors process data through the SCADA system and takes corrective action when deviations occur. -Identifies and resolves minor technical issues and reports major malfunctions. -Performs routine inspections and ensures the proper functioning of the installations. -Records and reports process and production data, including volumes and quality. -Assists with unloading molasses tankers into the molasses storage tanks. -Monitors the availability of raw materials and finished products. The Ideal Candidate: -MBO NATIN/AMTO qualification in Chemistry, Process Technology, or Mechanical Engineering. -Good knowledge of basic chemistry, chemical processes, and distillation techniques. -Knowledge of HSEQ standards and experience with SCADA, Microsoft Dynamics, Word, and Excel is an advantage. -Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. -Good communication skills, team-oriented, and detail-oriented. -Willingness to work shifts and operate effectively in a demanding work environment.
