New generation of bartenders

On the Friday 26^th October, 20 students received their bartender’s certificate at Suriname Alcoholic Beverages N.V. in “The Barrelhouse”. 

Since the first successful training last year SAB realized that there is a great demand in de hotel and catering industry for certified and experienced bartenders. With this in mind the second training, what took place from 15^th till 22^nd October, was also a successful turnkey project. With this basic course, the Suriname Alcoholic Beverages whishes to provide an encouraging service to the catering industry. The training was also meant to underline the enhanced value of our own Surinamese (rum) products. 

“With this training we also hope to open a clear communication between our company, the bartenders and the outlets they work for. It is very important to know what are the needs and trends of customers and products. Only then will we provide our clients with the service and products they desire”, said Ivo Bouguenon, Product Development Coordinator. 

Suriname Alcoholic Beverages will keep on investing in the catering industry and will provide advance trainings to bartenders on a continuing level according to the general manager, Mr. Steven Ma Ajong. 

The company will surely invest in the best bartenders to improve their skill by sending them to advanced training abroad and/or international bartenders’ contests.
