Suriname's famous dark rum, launched in 1982 to commemorate the first centennial elebration of the sugar-estate Mariënburg.
Borgoe '82 is preserved in oak bourbon barrels before blended to utter perfection and has a smooth and velvety texture with elegant hints of wood and caramel that impresses even the most critical rum lover.
This mellow rum is best appreciated "neat" with ice, but also mixes extremely well with natural fruit juices or cola. "Borgoe-cola" is the single most popular mix in Suriname.
